Good Day!!

Today was a good day for us. Logan was in dire need of a haircut. He was looking so shaggy! You have to understand this is an experience I used to dread. He has a lot of sensory issues and it was just horrible. I am talking about screaming, kicking, and dropping to the floor. By the time it was over both Logan and I would be sweating. Recently, I have been taking him to one of those places that caters to kids. The same lady cuts it and he sits in the same jet airplane. The last time she cut it he wanted her brush she uses to get hair off the neck. He likes to feel it and rub it on his skin. Well. today before she went to make the first cut she got it out for him to have. I thought that was so sweet that remembered it. I think that is the trick though, taking him to the same place and same person. He is very much routine oriented and does not really like change. My husband did not believe me until he saw it for himself. I loved hearing him say, "You were right." Tonight was good too. Nana and Grandaddy offered to watch him while we went to church. He does not do well in church (we have to do back row). That is so nice when grandparents offer to do things like that. Love you Mom!! Hopefully tomorrow will be good.
