Frustrating!!!!

I am sure I am not the only one who has those days. You know, the days where bedtime for the kids can't come fast enough!!! Well, today was one of those. Zach and I sat down to do his English homework. I was sitting with him because his handwriting is not great. If I didn't have him rewrite letters you wouldn't be able to read hardly any of it. He was in too much of a hurry because he wanted to play the Play Station. Oh my God, he whined and complained the whole time. Then bless his heart Logan was kind of restless and kept coming into the kitchen wanting one thing after another. It is very hard to help Zach and constantly have to get up and get Logan something. He is doing so well riding the bus! I am so happy about that because it was one of our issues in preschool. The not having to wait for the bus is making the difference I believe. At least that is one good thing. Today my husband and I were trying to figure out what to get Logan for his birthday. He will be five next month! I cannot believe it. The pictures taken of him in the children's hospital when he was only a day old are mind boggling. Today you look at him and cannot believe it is the same kid. He was so sick and almost did not make it home. I will never forget those days of sitting there and just watching him. I try to remember that when the bad days come along. One more thing to tell. I don't know if anyone gets the comic called Baby Blues. They ran kind of series a couple of weeks ago that I should frame. Mom cut them out and brought them to me. All of them have to do with a couple trying to clip their baby's nails. Oh my God, it fits us to a tee!!!!! The last frame of the last comic has the mom and dad with scratches and band aids all over them! One of the other kids asks how it went clipping the nails. The brother says there was crying, scratching and a couple of escape attempts. Then he says the baby was not crazy about it either! Mom said she saw that and instantly thought of me. I almost rolled on the floor laughing so hard when I read it. It is sad that something so easy has to be so hard! God bless and take care everyone.

I definitely can relate to those "can't wait for bedtime" days...haha. Hope today is better!
