Worn Slick Out!

Logan actually has homework. You may be thinking, "What kind of homework can he have?" I have to admit the thought crossed my mind too. But in his class they work based on each child's individual needs. He has come home with these things called social stories. They are 2-3 sentence stories about how he should act in specific situations. For example, there is one that has to do with how to act in PE, one for the library, and one for music. Each one is read on specific days. I am guessing the day before he has those things. The cool part is that all the words have a picture above them. Logan is very visual so they work for him. Even better is that he will sit in my lap and let me read them to him. You can actually see that is following along. He also came home with handwriting homework. He actually held the pencil and was moving in the right direction. He had some help from me, of course, but he was doing it. You have no idea how awesome a feat that is for him and us. He must have been working or playing the last two days because he conked out. I think he was asleep five minutes after going to bed. No time to strip clothes off or anything else!! Now this morning he came into my room with no pants on. Needless to say, I had to wash his sheets this morning! Never a dull moment in this house, that is for sure. Take care and God bless to everyone.
