Baby Step

Don't you just love it when your kid will do something for you that they won't do for your spouse? That probably sounds bad but it's true. We found out recently that Logan will do a sign besides "more". May not sound like a big deal, but for the longest time that is the only one he would do. Well, he will now do "drink". Now the trick is getting him to put the two signs he will do together. Daddy was trying to get him to do that the other day. He would do both signs but not put them together. He was getting frustrated and all of a sudden Logan gives Daddy this look. Next thing you know, Logan turns around and walks away from him. I guess he didn't want the drink that bad! Well, he did it for me today. There was a pause between the two signs but he did do them one right after the other. One baby step at a time I guess. But at least it is a step. He was wired today. Not really content to stay with one thing. Some days are like that. He was also very lovey dovey today. But one thing was kind of weird today. For as long as I can remember, Logan has loved for Daddy to throw him around and flip him on the bed. Well, today when he went to do it Logan sounded upset. I can't think of anything that has happened that would make him scared. Can it be we have found something he is afraid of? However, he kind of gave us a scare today. We have been keeping the door locked even during the day. Today I went to check on Logan and could not find him. Tom comes into the kitchen and sees the door open. He runs outside to find Logan sitting on the hood of my car. The door had not been locked and he got out! God bless to all.
