It May Work Out!

Well, Logan's school situation may work out after all. We had a parent-teacher confrence today. I have to say it went better that we expected. I guess we overreacted the other day when we got the note from the teacher. She said today that he has some good skills and is smart. He has some very, very good visual skills. That makes sense because that how he learns most everything I believe. You show him how to do something or what you want him to do and he will pick it up a lot faster than saying it. Sometimes if you tell him something it is hard to tell if he is getting it. They are working on him tracing letters, putting numbers in order up to 25, and several other things. She said he has some skills she would not expect him to have. The glitch, however, is his behavior. We have to find some way to get it under control. Tom and I both felt better after this morning. We had considered switching school systems. But that would take more adjustment and that would be harder on him. That may be to blame for the behavior now. Hopefully, the more he gets used to school the behavior will improve. Zach had a good report from the teacher also. Maybe the school year won't be so bad after all. They both got flu shots today. But they were able to use some spray in their nose instead of a needle. That worked out so much better!! Well, God bless to everyone.
