Well, here is my baby's first offical school picture. I thought it turned out okay. He needs a haircut so bad it is not funny. I will get around to it one of these days. I don't know how good of a week he has had considering they did not go the first two days of the week. We never lost power from the wind damage but lost cable for two days. God forbid my husband miss Monday night football. Logan may have had a rough week because of it. Changes in his routine usually do not go over very well. Sometimes I am unusually surprised. Although that is not usually the case. Heck, I spent the last two nights clipping fingernails and toenails. That is always a fun thing to try and do!!! We had his IEP set for Monday morning but the kids didn't go to school. However, we learned a lot from our parent teacher confrence. I just think it is so cool some of the stuff he is doing. Things I kind of thought he might not do. Things that a typical kindergartener might have no problem with. His teacher said she runs the classroom almost like a boot camp. If you stop and think about it, she would almost have to. I am not sure about the other disabilities but with autism I can see how that might not be such a bad idea. That may sound kind of bad but Logan does so much better when things stay the same. There are some instances where he is not as bad as he used to be. For instance, whenever Zach would miss the bus and I had to take him to school. I always hated those days because Logan would go crazy. As soon as we would pull up in front of school, he would start screaming to high heaven. He would slump in his seat and kick the crap out of the seat in front of him. Liquids pouring out of his eyes and nose because he was so upset. Sometimes that is the hardest part of him being non-verbal. It is a guessing game that often gets frustrating. Luckily, some things like that have gotten better. And tomorrow, my big boy turns eight years old!!!!!! God bless to all.
