Good Therapy Day

The speech therapist said she thought Logan had a little breakthrough today. Yeah!!!! She said he was a lot more vocal than normal. She heard the b sound and the I sound. He was kind of wired when he first got there so she had calm him down. They have a big sensory room with all kinds of stuff he loves. Deep pressure, rolling around on things, and some kind of swing. He absolutely loves it. She said it seems like he knows after a few minutes of that stuff that it is time to sit down and work. It is always nice to hear that he had a good therapy session. She is going to work on the letters of sign language I believe. That might take a little while to accomplish if he even will. He seems to prefer other things to signing but you never know. There was a newsletter that came home in his backpack the other day. It said something about his class having a performance. Those of you who know Logan personally tell me this is not fitting. The title is "Shangra La Acrobats" Right up his little alley considering one of our nicknames for him is Evel Knievel. Hey, if I couldn't have a sense of humor about some of this I would go bonkers!!!! The child is five and has already knocked his two front teeth out, need I say more? My husband went to therapy with us today. He got to meet the therapist for the first time. He said he thought he would start coming every week. That's fine with me even though he acted like I had been stopping him. Whatever!! Men, they are such strange creatures sometimes. God bless to all.
