Yeah!

The kids start back to school on Monday. I am kind of looking forward to it to be honest. Don't get me wrong I like not having to get up and go. However, this no school thing has messed with Logan more than I thought it would. I think going back will be a very good thing for him. Once you get a kid with autism on a routine, you really want to try and keep them there. It is like their system thrives on the structure and familiarity. This second week of no school seemed to go better for him than the first. I just hope they don't have too many problems with him when they get back. However, considering he is in a special needs class I am sure he will not be the only one to have a tough time. I do not know if any of the other kids have autism or not but I think they would still have trouble. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised. He is continuing to do better on the alphabet and letter sounds using the block he got for his birthday. I am always going to hold out hope that I will hear the word Mommy come out of his mouth one day. These things make that wish seem more possible. For me, that would be the sweetest sound in the world to hear. So wish us luck next week because we all may need it!!!! God bless to all.
