Back to the Grind
Well, things get somewhat back to normal tomorrow. The boys go back to school. I am hoping these few extra days have not screwed Logan up. Judging by his behavior, I don't think it will be too bad. We have been trying to figure out what to get him for Christmas. He is so hard to buy for. He isn't into one certain type of toy. Give him some lids or kitchen utensils and he is happy as a clam. I have another website I am on and a woman wrote a journal post. Someone else had posted something about how autism is the new "designer diagnosis" I am here to tell you if I could do only one thing in this world, it would be to take away Logan's autism. I want to take away anything that is going to make his life more difficult. I would not wish it on another parent because sometimes it can break your heart. I hate the fact that he has this label hanging over him. I hate the fact that there are so many preconceived notions when it comes to autism. In large part, this is because people do not take the time or effort to educate themselves. Believe me, when I suspected this may be going on I spent a lot of time on the computer doing research. I still don't have an answer for everything. I just try to do the best I can every day for Logan and Zach. Thursday at my in-laws he put all the letters of the alphabet in order. Just one more step in the right direction!!! I just wanted him to be the best he can be and I will do anything I can to help. God bless to all.
