Can't Believe It!!

We got some more good news Tuesday. Tom and I went to school that day and had Thanksgiving lunch with Logan. We sat down and started getting his chicken cut up and milk opened. The principal came over and thanked us for coming to eat. He laughed and said we had to come and eat with Logan every day! I asked why and he said that was the quietest Logan had ever been. Apparently, if they have something he doesn't like he lets everyone know. He did pretty good with us there. We took him back to his class and his teacher wanted us to come in so she could show us some stuff. She took us over to the computer and showed us the reading program they are doing with him. Oh my gosh, I couldn't believe what he was doing. He has to touch the computer screen to give answers. He does not talk but can recognize some of the words. It absolutely amazes me! He also took magnetic letters and spelled his name. I am dead serious, he took the letters and put them in the right order. First and last name, baby!!!!! He is also putting numbers in order up to 35. I almost started crying when he spelled his name. I told my mom and dad about it. Dad could not believe he did his first and last name. He also had a good session at speech therapy today! I have a funny story that I forgot to tell the other day. This past Saturday night we went to church, which we usuallly do not do. The first five minutes or so Logan threw his fit. Later we were at a point where we had to kneel down. So Tom had Logan in front of him to distract him. Next thing I know I hear a slapping noise. I look over and Logan is pulling Tom's head down and proceeds to slap him on both sides of his head. I have to turn and look away because I am afraid I will bust out laughing in church. That went on for a few minutes. Then I hear Tom saying, " Quit that hurts! Ouch, stop Logan." I look over this time and Logan is pulling on Tom's chest hair. I cannot believe I didn't lose it then and there. It took all I had to keep my composure. It wouldn't have been too bad but there were not that many people there. Logan cracks me up sometimes. God bless to all.
