What a Rude Surprise
Last night we went to another couples house for supper and company. We had such a nice time. Zach and one of the boys played in the basement the whole time, having a ball. Logan found the stairs and bless his heart he kept going up and down them. That kept him entertained pretty much the whole time. I was kind of nervous because it was all new people and a whole new enviroment. He really did well and I am so happy he did. Well, we got home and did baths and bed for the boys. I sat down at the computer to check Logan's video. His view numbers have not changed in several days so they must be having website problems. I happen to look down and see a new comment. Oh my God, I was so not prepared for what I was about to read. I don't know if the person was a man or woman because all they used to sign their name was the letter M. They said they watched Logan's video and I made it seem like he was dying. That he just had a learning disability and I needed to get over it. That there were kids out there who were dying of cancer or were missing limbs. That I should go complain to the parents of those kids. Also to leave it to Americans to complain about their kids. They also said they did not have time to make a "video", that I should read or take him to therapy lessons. To get off my ass and teach him! All I could see was red. I was thinking that I could off my ass and put my foot you know where! The really funny part about the whole thing is the person said they also had a child with autism. They would never make a video about their child like it was a "funeral" video. Yet the person had time to watch Logan's video and make that nasty comment. They have no idea how much we work with Logan or that he goes to speech therapy on Thursdays after school. Or that we are working on starting another therapy. Thank God I have family and friends that I can count on for love and support. They help in dealing with ignorant assholes like the one that left that comment! God bless to all.
