Logan Update

Hello all, I know it has been a while since I have been on. Things have been kind of busy. Right now, we are nearing the end of school. I am sure some of you guys are also. Logan's occupational therapy is going well. They are working on writing and working fasteners, buttons and snaps. I have also been to school and seen some of the stuff he is doing. I have to say I was floored. I had no idea he could do those things. They are working on time on the hour, new words, writing, and coin identification. His teacher has told us that he is so smart that they are giving him regular kindergarten work. His occupational therapist came and installed some stuff on my computer that is like what they are doing at school with him. That will come in handy this summer. Next year, he will be getting a new teacher and two new assistants. Therefore, that should prove for an interesting school year! He is making new sounds and trying to say some new words. Seems like he is always making some kind of sound. Sometimes they sound like new words and sometimes just sounds but I will take whatever I can get!!! Also, we are working on getting him a speaking device. A girl in his class has one and they took an afternoon and showed him how to use it. The next morning my hubby and I went to school and watched him make three sentences!!! Don't know if we will get one but the process is started. Sometimes the non-verbal aspect of Logan's autism is the most frustrating. So, he has made great strides here recently. Hopefully he will continue to do so. Now what to do about Zach?
