Hello Again!

It has been such a long time since I have done this that I don't know where to start! Logan is doing amazing sounds like a good place to start. We are getting new words and sounds out of him, all the time it seems like. He even sang to us at Christmas, granted it was just one line but I will take it!! Now, he can tell you his name and what street he lives on. Our next task is his phone number and city. I just never know when he is going to bust out with something new. We had loads of fun last week with him having pink eye. Let me tell you it is not fun to try and get eye drops in an autistic kid with sensory issues. However, he had to stay home from school one day and I had good luck getting them in that day. I tried making a game out of it and I actually got him laughing as I was doing it. Yeh for me! They are also working on addition at school and he actually brought home flash cards. The ladies that work with him at school are so amazing!!! I love them to peices, they work so hard with the kids. They want each kid to be the best they can be. I believe they have him doing first grade work and he is doing well with it. I know he will be at his current school for several more years. It is where he goes when he leaves there that scares me. We have gotten just as comfortable with the people and place as he has.
I guess I shouldn't worry about that now. However, when it comes to Logan I can always find something to worry about. He is still doing therapy after school and is doing good there too. He is so smart, I just hate that has to struggle. I think there is so much potential locked inside that brain of his. Communication is the hard part and we just have to push him to do it. Well, I need to go for now. However, I need to get back into this because it helps me. God bless to all!!!
