Feel Better Tomorrow..Hopefully
Having a child with autism can sometimes be a very time consuming thing. Logan being non-verbal and not toilet trained add even more time which has to be devoted to him. I think sometimes that siblings of kids with autism get lost in the shuffle. I think there are times when siblings resent the time that has to be devoted to their sibling with a disability. Zach told me once that he wished he had someone to play with. This was on a day that Logan did not want to have anything to do with him. All Logan wanted to do was was watch television. In that moment, my heart broke for both of the boys. I think there are still times that Zach doesn't understand those times. How do you explain?? I also think it is important that Zach gets some time to have Daddy and I to himself. So today we took him to a class at Western Kentucky for gifted children. While he was doing that Tom and I went to a parent seminar. He seemed like he had a good time. Well, we get home and I get supper started. Zach is halfway through his supper and next thing you know he gets sick. He has proceeded to get sick several more times and is now asleep. Meanwhile, Logan has that crappy sounding cough. So off tomorrow to get it checked out. Seems like it is always something! God bless to all
