A Little Sad

Well, today Logan did something he hasn't done since preschool. Last week his teacher said that he has been trying to flip over his seat while the bus is moving. Not a good thing but that is my little daredevil! It just makes me kind of sad that he has to be harnessed. However, I would rather that happen than him get hurt. He has done so good on the bus so this happening out of the blue confuses me. Just another example of how unpredictable autism can be. No two kids with autism are exactly the same. Yes, they have similar qualities but they are not all the same. He is also back into getting up early in the morning. I am talking 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. and it is so not a good thing. We put one of those doorknob covers on like you would for a toddler. Hopefully, he won't figure out how to work it. He gets up early like that and crawls in bed with Zach. It would be ok if he wanted to sleep. No, he wants to go in there and bounce on the bed until Zach wakes up too. I can't do another day like we had last week! He woke up at 2:30 a.m. last Thursday morning and to my knowledge did not go back to sleep at all. Well, he made it through school that day. However, therapy after school was a whole different story. He couldn't stay awake so we had to go back Friday. He had a good session so I guess it was worth it. Hopefully, he is in a good mood in the morning. He was kind of grumpy this morning! God bless to all!

I hope the door know cover does the trick and I bet Zach will be glad to not have to wake up so early too. It was good to see you today!
