I am so proud of Logan. He was in a musical program last night with the first grade classes. He did so good!!! I don't know that he actually sang. However, he stayed on the bleachers and moved to the music. He was told by a few of the teachers afterwards how good he did. He seemed like he liked the attention and being told he did a good job. I am just so happy he was included with the regular classes. Tonight at home was a little bit different. He was messing with the t.v. in Zach's room and Zach was trying to stop him. Needless to say, Zach was the one that got in trouble. I think that sometimes Logan actually instigates stuff but Zach gets in trouble for it. Zach said Logan pushed him out of the way and honestly I wouldn't doubt it. To me, Zach was doing something he has seen Tom and I do. I don't know, sometimes it is hard to juggle between the two of them. Logan's needs are sometimes so overwhelming that I think Zach gets lost in the shuffle. I know Zach also wishes he had a "typical" brother, although he wouldn't say it that way. I am reading a book right now about a three year old boy with autism. Let me tell you, it is so scary how much some of the stuff sounds like Logan. The unusual thing about this book is that it is fiction. When it comes to autism almost all the books are informational. This one gives the person reading it a good idea of what living with autism is like. Trust me, unless you live with it or are around it a lot you have no idea. It can be so much harder than people think. However, I think having to live with it on a daily basis has made me a stronger person. God bless to all.

That is awesome that Logan did so well. I know it must be hard on the whole family for Logan to have autism. I can't even imagine how it is because raising kids is so hard anyway and then to throw in something that disrupts life even more must be very hard. But I know that they always say that God has a plan and it is not necessarily our plan-- hopefully because of Logan's autism something else is in your family's future that will make it all make sense.
